In the fourth quarter of 2023, the performance of the top five real-time strategy apps on iOS in Switzerland showed varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Clash Royale from Supercell demonstrated consistent activity. Its weekly revenue peaked at approximately $69K in early October and saw another significant increase to about $62K in early November. Downloads fluctuated slightly, reaching a high of 1.5K mid-October and closing the quarter at 1.2K. Weekly active users (WAU) remained robust, ranging from 92K to 112K throughout the quarter.

Tower War - Tactical Conquest by SayGames LTD experienced a gradual increase in revenue, peaking at around $2.9K in the last week of December. Downloads showed a decline from 1.3K in early October to 805 by the end of the quarter. WAU for the app saw a steady increase, reaching a high of 3.9K in mid-December.

Warcraft Rumble from Blizzard Entertainment, Inc., which launched in early November, had a strong start with its highest weekly revenue of about $38K in the first week of November. Downloads saw an initial spike to 5.7K at launch but dropped significantly to 294 by the end of December. WAU began at 4.6K and saw a decline to approximately 1.7K by the end of the quarter.

Mob Control by Voodoo showed variability in its revenue, peaking at $6K in early October and maintaining moderate levels around $2.3K to $4.1K towards the end of the quarter. Download numbers were relatively stable, ranging from 464 to 875. WAU started at 2.9K in late September and stabilized around 1.6K by the end of December.

We Are Warriors!, a new entrant from Lessmore UG, saw its downloads increase from 105 in late November to 456 by the end of December. WAU also showed a positive trend, increasing from 102 to 671 over the same period.
